CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) has announced its shortlist of the best pubs in South Wales, with the Brecon Beacons very own New Inn winning! They were judged on decor, value for money, customer service, their appeal to different demographics and – of course – the quality of their real ale.

The New Inn is situated on the A40 and has provided refreshments and accommodation to weary travellers and locals for centuries .  Hosts Sarah and Neil are continuing this tradition by offering tasty home-cooked food, a well stocked bar and warm, comfortable bunkhouse style accommodation all under one roof. At the New inn there is a warm reception for locals and visitors alike, kids, dogs and muddy boots are all welcome.
