Lynne Cartlidge, Cardiff-based painter, loves making the ordinary strange and unusual. She primarily uses oil on canvas painting everyday items, such as fruits and flowers, but has a subtle twist. Suffused with light, the objects are faint and understated, allowing the viewer to sit back and take everything in without being daunted by dark colours.
Lynne has lived in Wales her entire life and has been a part of several impressive exhibitions. These include the 2011 Waterloo Gardens Teahouse in Cardiff, the 2012 Pontcanna Street Gallery in Cardiff, and 2012 Open Space Gallery in Arwennack.

Tom Hughes started out as a freelance illustrator for some of the UK’s top magazines, but soon realised his real calling was “en plein air” painting, or painting outside. He is a master of capturing light and a sense of place. He paints small, using a 12 x 10 pochade box to made his studio mobile so all locations open themselves to him.
After his family moved back the Brecon Beacons area, he began to explore and found that a deep family connection existed between his home and the beautiful natural surroundings. He has exhibited at the RWA and Clifton Fine Art in Bristol and was selected for the Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize in 2013.

Frans Wesselman RE began his love of art with pictures from magazines from a very young age. It probably helped that he grew up around The Hague and often went to look at the etchings of Rembrandt. After doing a stint in military service, he left Ireland and ended up in Wales, varying his artistic interests to include stained glass work.
Frans has recently exhibited at the 2012 “Introducing” Hybrid Gallery in Honiton and was awarded the Aberystwyth University Purchase Price at the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers annual exhibition 2013. In 2009, he was commissioned to make designs for the Cultural Olympics project of “Godiva Awakes” in Coventry.
