To celebrate Bike Week, and for the rest of June, Hay-based mountain bike holidays operator and guide Wild Rides is offering 10% off bookings for their ‘Black Iron’ two-day outing in September.
The Black Iron tour is a ride back in time taking in some natural trail highlights of South Wales’ Black Mountains and the forgotten, industrial landscape of Blaenavon’s World Heritage site iron works.
Over two days and 100km, you’ll experience sinuous singletrack, rugged moorland and a landscape scarred by the industrial revolution.
You’ll ride hillsides plundered for their coal and limestone and now reclaimed by nature to become nationally-important wildlife habitats.
You’ll plummet down classic Black Mountains descents - and experience the full force of the range’s lung-busting climbs.
All this in a weekend of guided mountain biking where all you need to do is keep cranking those pedals!
The discounted price of £195.30 per person includes:
*Two nights’ accommodation
*Cooked breakfasts and packed lunches
*Luggage transfers
*Qualified mountain bike guide for the duration of your trip
