HAY FESTIVAL WINTER WEEKEND PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED 

Conversations, compelling stories, music and family workshops meet with the best of Hay-on-Wye’s seasonal shopping and the famed natural surroundings at Hay Festival Winter Weekend, 23 – 26 November 2017.

Now in its 18th year, the programme of talks will be the most ambitious yet, highlighting the world’s best new fiction, non-fiction and poetry.  A new venue will transform the town centre into a playground of ideas.

Workshops for young people take inspiration from the festival’s #HAYTREES project, with tree to type printmaking, festival crafts, and Forest School events.

Vintage fashion, fine foods and seasonal crafts share centre stage in the town’s market square: the Hay-on-Wye Christmas lights are switched on Friday 24 November, Hay Food Festival takes place Saturday 25, and Hay Does Vintage takes place Sunday 26.
