If you’re looking for a relaxing way to spend a Friday lunchtime in Brecon, the popular Brecon Cathedral Lunchtime Recital Series continues throughout the summer, offering free live performances in one of the town’s most beautiful historic settings.

Held every Friday, the series showcases an impressive programme of talented musicians, from classical guitarists and organists to chamber ensembles, vocalists and pianists. Whether you’re a regular concertgoer or simply looking to enjoy live music during a visit to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, these lunchtime recitals provide the perfect opportunity to pause and unwind.

Admission is free, with donations welcomed to support the series.

Please note that the 17 July recital forms part of the Brecon Choir Festival and is a ticketed performance (£10), beginning at 12.30pm. Selected earlier concerts also begin at 12 noon rather than 1pm, so visitors are encouraged to check individual event details before travelling.
