CBeebies’ favourite double act is coming to town! See Chris & Pui from ‘Show Me Show Me’ in their new stage show with the toys & characters from their hit TV programme.
Incy Wincy, Twinkle, Old MacDonald, Humpty, Granny Humpty and many more of your favourite Chris & Pui characters will be dropping in along with the toys – Tom, Momo, Teddington, Stuffy and Miss Mouse.
Catch the ‘Gingerbread Man’, marvel at the ‘Ugly Duckling’ becoming a beautiful swan and oooh and aaah as Miss Mouse attempts to zoom zoom zoom to the cheesy moon in her rocket. National Botanic Garden of Wales
Have a Campfire Adventure this February half term, making popcorn over a campfire being just one of the fun family activities at the National Botanic Garden of Wales-when children go FREE.
Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson’s creation ‘Stickman’ will be a special feature of the holiday fun and games and storytelling. Giant Jenga and draughts, making walking sticks and charcoal, stick swords and soap are all on the adventure agenda.
The action starts on Saturday February 13th and continues until Sunday February 21st.
The Garden’s Family Activities run from 12noon until 4pm every day of half-term. The Garden is open from 10am until 4.30pm and it is free admission for the under-16s.

Cantref Adventure Farm
Visit Cantref Adventure Farm to have an adventure with your family this Half Term. With lots going on, there's plenty of activities to stay amused. Visit the lambing barn to get up close to some of the larger farm animals at the adventure farm. The animals you can see change throughout the year but often include Cows, Donkeys, Goats and sometimes even cute baby piglets. Attend their pet handling show for a great chance to “cwtch” some of their cute smaller animals at Cantref with their enthusiastic entertainment team on hand to tell you some fascinating facts about them. You can see many animals including Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Ferrets, Rats, Gerbils, Chipmunks and Turtles.

The Play Barn at Brynich
For more adventure, exercise and stimulation, visit The Play Barn at Brynich' indoor soft play centre on the edge of Brecon. Suitable for children up to 11. With a café that offers delicious meals, snacks and drinks, the parents can stay happy too. The Play Barn at Brynich is open Wednesday to Sunday during term time. Open 7 days a week during Powys school holidays.
Big Pit
Join in on Big Pit' Half term craft activities or every Thursday morning join the team in their new PlayLab for a cuppa, storytelling and singing for parents and babies through the medium of Welsh. Explore our fanatstic soft play equipment and meet other parents. Suitable for 0-2 years.
Or discover Wales's rich mining heritage in this amazing award-winning interactive museum complete with underground tour. Experience the sights, sounds, smells and atmosphere of an authentic coal mine.with free entry, underground Tours 10am-3.30pm.
Visit Dan Yr Ogof Showcaves, spot over 200 life size dinosaur models and visit the Shire Horse Centre this half term. The 3 different caves Dan-yr-Ogof, Cathedral Cave and Bone Cave each offer a unique underground experience, with their dinosaur collection being one of the largest in the world. The Shire Horse Centre offers the excitement of the 2 covered children’s play areas, the farmyard area, and make friends with the gentle giants – the Shire horses who are waiting to say hello. Include the Iron Age village, museum, and stone circles, and you have plenty to see and do for all ages, and for those who may want a break, there is our Coffee shop, and the Rock and Dinosaur shop to enjoy.
Old Railway Line Garden Centre
Visit the Old Railway Line Garden Centre for one of their Wild Wednesday workshops, offering a fun and creative workshop for children every Wednesday during the school holidays.
This session is packed with wild bird themed fun. Decorate a wooden bird feeder and make a suet treat to attract wild birds to your garden. Also take part in a hunt around our plant area... can you find all of the hidden birds!? Book here
