Wales welcomes the Tour de France for the first time in 2027, with Stage 3 passing through Mid Wales, Bannau Brycheiniog and the South Wales Valleys before finishing in Cardiff.
On Sunday 4 July 2027, the peloton will set out from Welshpool, pass through Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Brecon, then cross the Bannau Brycheiniog route before heading towards the finish. It will be a major free-to-watch sporting occasion and a memorable opportunity to experience the landscape from the roadside.
Further spectator, travel and route information will be released as planning develops. For now, save the date and start thinking about where you would like to watch — or how you might make a cycling break of it.
