Climb aboard a real moving train for a festive journey inspired by The Polar Express, with storytelling, singing and a visit from Santa at the North Pole.
From 13 November to 23 December 2026, Brecon Mountain Railway brings this much-loved Christmas story to life. During the 120-minute experience, passengers can enjoy hot chocolate and a treat, hear the classic tale by Chris Van Allsburg, join in with carols and holiday activities, and receive the first gift of Christmas — a silver sleigh bell.
Standard adult and child tickets start from £32.95, with prices varying between off-peak and peak dates. Children aged two and under can travel on the dedicated children’s ticket for £5, while a premium upgrade is also available.
