Make a festive visit to the Dan-yr-Ogof Christmas Experience at the National Showcaves Centre for Wales on Saturday 19 to Thursday 24 December 2026. Santa visits run from 10am to 3pm, and tickets must be booked online for a chosen time.
What’s included
Your ticket includes a visit to Santa and a gift for each child, plus entry to Cathedral Cave, the Dinosaur Trail and Dinosaur Parks, indoor and outdoor play areas, and the Shire Horse Centre and farm.
Tickets cost £22 for adults, £20 for children aged 3–12 and £12 for infants aged two and under. Children and infants must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over. Book Dan-yr-Ogof Christmas tickets.
Plan your visit
The Coffee Shop opens at 9.30am, the Rock and Dino Shop at 10am, and the Shire Horse Centre and farm at 11am. Attractions begin closing from 3pm. Afternoon visitors may arrive earlier to enjoy the other attractions but should be ready for Santa at their booked time.
The caves remain at around 10°C, so sturdy footwear and a warm, long-sleeved top are recommended. Pushchairs cannot be taken underground, and dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs. Visitors with access requirements are encouraged to contact Dan-yr-Ogof before booking. Read the essential information before visiting.
