Let the music lead you through Brecon this autumn at the 20th Brecon Baroque Festival, a four-day celebration of early music in the Bannau Brycheiniog.
From Friday 16 to Monday 19 October, the festival’s 2026 programme, From Dowland to Bach, brings together internationally admired musicians including harpsichordists Kris Bezuidenhout and Marcin Świątkiewicz, recorder player Lucie Horsch, viola da gamba player Mélisande Corriveau, In Echo, Fretwork, Ian Bostridge and writer Horatio Clare.
Alongside the concerts, there will be talks, a town walk and a special festival evensong — giving visitors the chance to hear extraordinary music and experience Brecon’s historic character between performances.
