Brecon County Show returns on Saturday 1 August 2026, bringing one of the area’s best-loved agricultural shows back to the Brecon County Showground.
Organised by the Brecknockshire Agricultural Society, the show is a major celebration of Brecknockshire farming, food, countryside, rural skills and community life. The Society describes the event as a showcase for the best of local farming, food and the countryside, with more than 19,000 visitors attending in 2025.
Visitors can expect a full day of displays, competitions, shopping and family-friendly attractions, including livestock classes, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas, sheep-shearing, dog classes, horticulture, handicrafts, vintage vehicles, tractors, food demonstrations, a food hall, shopping mall, craft marquee and over 300 trade stands. The 2026 show will also feature the Paul Hannam Quad Stunt Show.
Set in Brecon, close to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Brecon County Show is a strong day out for families, countryside enthusiasts, local residents and visitors staying in the area.
