Canal Wharf to Watton Lime Kilns

• Park at the Theatr Brycheiniog  car park
• Walk directly onto the canal and go under Bridge 166
• Continue along the towpath to the gate, go through the gate and continue to a panel which tells you about the lime kilns
• Continue to the signpost which directs you to the lime kilns
• Walk back to the start.

Brinore Tramroad walk

• Park at Henderson Hall car park
• Walk up to the road and head towards the lift bridge, turn left along the canal towpath.
• Leave the towpath at Bridge 143 and go over the bridge.
• Continue along the Brinore Tramroad until you see a gate ahead and steps with a stile leading into a field on your left.
• Go over the stile, walk through the field to another stile, go over the stile into another field.
• Walk ahead to another stile, go over this, turn left over the metalled gate walk down to the raod until you reach Bridge 142.
• Turn left onto the towpath and walk back to Talybont village.

Clydach Ironworks and Tramroad

• Park at Clydach village hall, from the entrance to the car park, take the path to the right down the former tramroad incline to reach the ruins of Clydach Ironworks
• Cross the River Clydach via the historic cast-iron Smart's Bridge and follow the track, keeping right until you reach the road.
• Turn right and follow the road uphill for over 350m until you reach a public footpath on the left beside of Troed Rhiw House.
• Follow the path, cross a footbridge and ascend to a viewing point over the Dyar-fach. Continue to the old viaduct over Nant Dyar. Turn right along the cycleway past the former clydach station to a steep road
• Cross the road and follow the waymarked route of National Cycle network 46, passing the western entrances to the Clydach Tunnels, until you reach a panel interpreting the view into Llanelly Quarry. Shortly afterwards, turn sharp right down a road and then shortly left down a former tramway incline through the beechwoods signed to Dan y Coed. Follow a path behind the houses with the river down to your left to reach the head of a short cul-de-sac road. Follow it and turn left along another road to reach the entrance to the car park after 220m.

Blaenavon Ironworks Walk

• Turn left at Prince Street car park, walk up the road, passing St.Peters Church and then take the next left into Blaenavon World Heritage Centre.
• After your visit, turn left and continue up the road to Blaenvon Ironworks.
• After your visit, turn left and walk up the road until you see the King Street on the opposite side of the road.
• Cross over with care and continue walking down King Street which leads to the shops in Blaenavon and at the end of the road back to Prince Street car park.
