About the dog Friendly awards
For many years Dog Friendly have worked alongside the Kennel Club as part of their ‘Be
Dog Friendly’ campaign to encourage more places across the UK to adopt a dog friendly
policy, for the benefit of the nation's 9.4 m dogs and their owners. On 21 st October 
Brecon Retreat was invited to the ‘Discovery Dogs’ show held at the Excel Centre in London and was awarded the 2017 winner of the ‘Best Place to Stay in the UK’ category.
