Award-winning florist Hilary, based in Abergavenny, will be teaching participants how to make their own Christmas wreaths in Llangynidr Village Hall. This is a great opportunity to get creative - why not bring the whole family? Everyone can have a go and produce something handcrafted for the house that will last forever and mean more than any shop bought decoration.

Talking of Llangynidr, it has everything you need for a wintery day out with the family. Start the day with a walk along the canal to work up an appetite then settle down in one of the village’s cosy pubs for a hearty lunch and a drink. The Red Lion has a great quiz as well as live music and the Coach and Horses is the perfect place for a family drink, dogs welcome.
