The Brecon Beacons have been winning awards left, right and centre in 2013 but here's our top 3 which (as proven by the sheaf of awards) are well worth a visit...
1. Felin Fach Griffin named ‘Dining Pub of the Year for Wales’ by The Good Pub Guide 2014
But don't take our word for it, here's what they said - home-grown vegetables among its carefully sourced ingredients and fine range of drinks; upbeat rustic décor, inviting bedrooms..." Sound appealing?
2. The Bell at Skenfrith was crowned winner of the ‘Best Pub to Eat In' at the Visit Wales Tourism Awards
The restaurant has won many awards for its food on top of this year's success, including 2 AA Rosettes. Their a la carte menu changes every six to eight weeks and offers locally-sourced seasonal food, much from their kitchen garden.
3. Llangoed Hall - Llangoed Hall, the newly crowned AA Hotel of the Year for Wales 2014.
But that's not all as they have also won the Inspectors Choice 4 Red Stars and the AA’s supreme accolade at the AA Hospitality Awards. Quite the hat-trick!
