Cycling and mountain biking is a fabulous way to experience our glorious countryside. It gives you healthy exercise, relieves stress and allows you to spend time in the fresh air with family and friends.
Our National Park is a great place for a day out on two wheels, or even a cycle touring or mountain biking holiday. Our bike guides and hire companies can set up anything from a a simple day's bike hire to a complete package with equipment, accommodation, routes and guides all included.

We have lots of different terrain to explore, including towpaths, lanes and hillside tracks. And thanks to our public transport network, you can leave the car behind - especially on summer Sundays, when the Bike Bus is running.

Drover Cycles
Drover Cycles is based in Hay on Wye, right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons with bike hire, a fully stocked shop and repair centre available on site.
We’re on Forest Road in the infamous book-town of Hay on Wye, right on the boarder between Wales and England at foot of the the Gospel Pass – one of the highest mountain roads in Wales and a must for any road cyclist in the area. If you prefer mountain biking there’s no shortage of hills; we’re on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and within an hour or two drive of the legendary south Wales trail centres: Cwmcarn, Afan Valley and Bike Park Wales being the closest. We’re also big fans of touring & commuting by bike and also family cycling, so we have bikes for everyone.
