The Crickhowell Walking Festival returns to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) from 7–15 March 2026, bringing nine days of guided walks, challenges, and evening events celebrating one of Wales’ most scenic walking hubs.
The festival team has now released the full 2026 walk programme for browsing. Walks cannot be booked until 08:00 on Monday 1 December 2025, but walkers are encouraged to review the schedule early — the most popular routes traditionally book up fast.

The much-loved TM5 Challenge on Crug Hywel / Table Mountain also returns, now firmly established as a highlight for seasoned walkers looking to test their fitness early in the year.
Most walks offer 20 places, while linear routes are limited to 14, due to transport logistics. Each route is graded under the Festival’s detailed Boot 1–4 system, helping walkers match the right level of challenge.
