Crickhowell Christmas Market is now just days away — and this year’s line-up promises one of the most atmospheric evenings of the season across Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).
Taking place on Thursday 4 December, 4pm–8.30pm, the event brings together 32 artisan producers, more than 20 late-night independent shops, and a full programme of festive entertainment throughout the town.
It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy Crickhowell at its wintry best — lights glowing across the high street, warm welcomes at every doorway, and the smell of seasonal food drifting from stall to stall.

Serving from their iconic Antur Land Rover bar, pouring local craft favourites throughout the evening.
Joining the market as stallholders with their small-batch, naturally fermented drinks — ideal for festive gifting.
Open for late-night shopping, offering signed editions, Welsh titles and handpicked Christmas gifts.
A great stop-off for walking gear, outdoor clothing, and thoughtful presents for adventurers.
Their artisan smoked produce will be available as part of the market’s food and gift selection.
Perfect places to enjoy dinner or a drink once the market begins to wind down — both are just steps from the high street.
Visitors can look forward to:
• Short festive films, gingerbread decorating and hot drinks at St Edmund’s Church
• Crafting and live music at St Edmund’s at the Market
• A digital scavenger hunt across town
• A full evening of live performances at the Monument, including Crickhowell Primary School, Evergreen Chorus, Ebbw Valley Brass, AberSamba, Crickhowell Choral Society and more
With independent shops staying open late, a diverse line-up of stallholders and plenty of places to stay warm with food and drink afterwards, this is one of Crickhowell’s most welcoming evenings of the year.
