How about a Wildlife Walk with Brecknock Wildlife Trust.

Brecknock Wildlife Trust have an annual calendar of events, this Saturday, 30th May the walk takes in the Ystradfawr Walk, Ystradgynlais one of the 22 Brecknock Wildlife Trust Sites.

Ystradfawr is one of a group of nature reserves managed by Brecknock Wildlife Trust as part of its Upper Tawe Valley Living Landscape project in an old mining community.

There are many flowers of the marshy grassland to see.

A stroll focusing on plant life, sturdy boots are recommended as there will be some rough and marshy ground, with some stiles to cross.

No more than 3 miles and all within the reserve.  Estimated return time 2/3hours.  (bring a drink and snack)

The walk starts at 10.30am at the reserve.   Meet at Ysgol Golwyg y Cwm.  SA9 1BU.  Directions can be found here.
