Get into the festive spirit by visiting one of the many Brecon Beacons‘ Christmas markets and fairs. We have lots of Christmas markets and fairs happening in communities right across the Brecon Beacons, it’s a perfect way to get in the mood for Christmas and start your shopping- let the festivities begin!

Llandeilo Festival Of Senses-17th-19th November

Llandeilo Festival of Senses is an annual free pre Christmas festival. Located across the West Wales town, the festival encompasses the towns shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as offering Craft and fashion stalls, food stalls, buskers, entertainment and more. Join us in Llandeilo on the 17th - 19th of November, and get yourself in the Festive spirit.

Joanna Lumley, the Absolutely Fabulous star and advocate for the Gurkha Justice Campaign is to switch on the Christmas lights in Brecon this year.
This will be the highlight of the town’s “Brecon with Bells On” Christmas Market on Saturday November 18th organised by Brecon Town Council. It is the second year the event has been staged in the town centre

Hay Festival Winter Weekend-23rd-26th NovemberImage result for hay festival winter weekend 2017

Now in its 18th year, the Winter Weekend is a smaller version of the main festival with events taking place in four venues in the town. This year's Festival will be our biggest yet with a new 450-seater venue and extended programming. The town’s atmospheric market square will be a focus of festivities: On Friday 24 November, the Hay Christmas lights will be turned on, transforming the town into a winter wonderland brimming with festive cheer, accompanied by carol singing, readings and evening entertainment.

On Saturday 25 November, Hay Food Festival celebrates all that’s good about winter cooking, with over 50 stalls showcasing the very best of local produce, from savoury to sweet.

On Sunday 26 November, Hay Does Vintage transforms the square into a festive outdoor fleamarket with over 50 vintage and retro traders offering a diverse collection of items from clothes, textiles and jewellery, to furniture, collectables, and kitchenalia. Click here for more info.

Traditional Christmas Fair at Dinefwr-25th November

A mansion and courtyard filled with tasty treats and hand made gifts. There'll be festive entertainment in the marquee, Father Christmas will be in his Grotto and there's a free glass of Mulled Wine (or fruit juice) and a mince pie for all. More here.

Royal Welsh Winter Fair-27th and 28th November

First staged in 1990, the Winter Fair is now firmly established as one of the most popular attractions on the British agricultural show calendar. Leading stockmen from all over the UK compete for the top accolades in the competitions running throughout the two-day event.

Away from the judging rings the very best of Welsh food producers will be showcasing their produce and Christmas shoppers can explore the hundreds of tradestands, demonstrations and exhibitions and festive atmosphere. More here.

Aberglasney Winter Fair-1st-3rd December

A must-do of the Christmas season!

Come and join us at the Gilwern Victorian Christmas Market.  We have a brand new location at GILWERN COMMUNITY CENTRE but with all the amazing Victorian Christmas atmosphere that we all know and love. A fun packed afternoon with something for everyone. Christmas Late Night Shopping in Crickhowell-7th December

Come and join us for the town's annual late night shopping event.
This year the Clarence Hall will host over 20 independent artisan traders (to book a table contact CRiC 01873 811970 ) , whilst the town’s businesses and High Street shops will stay open late offering a host of special offers.... street food and choirs will also entertain you, and St Edmunds will host activities and bell ringing as usual!(There will be no road closure this year) More here.

Myddfai Christmas Craft Fair-7th December

Saturday 7th December is the date for this years Myddfai Christmas Fair 10am-4pm

There will be a wide range of local crafts & cakes available, as well as games and a quiz.  Mulled wine & mince pies plus other  tasty, home-made refreshments will be available from the cafe.  Entry is FREE. 10am-4pm

Brecon Farmers Market-9th and 17th of December

Local produce for excellent Christmas presents and festivities! A huge range of food and gift ideas, from local producers – we’ll even have Santa in his Groto! Live music, and a cafe provided by Love at First Bake. More here.

Christmas Craft Fair at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales-9th and 10th December

The Garden’s popular Christmas Craft Fair will return this year, and there’ll be something for everyone looking to buy that perfect last-minute gift, on Saturday and Sunday December 9 & 10.

The Great Glasshouse will be the venue for a fabulous fair with a fantastic array of stalls showcasing locally-made crafts and gifts; from handmade and hand-dyed silk scarves and handmade jewellery to homewares and glass items – and plenty of Christmas decorations too! More here.

Abergavenny Christmas Fair-10th December
