Drone Technology Used To Positively Promote Tourism in the Brecon Beacons

Call of the Wild’s Adventure Britain  have used state of the art drone technology (remote controlled miniature aerial vehicle) to develop a new promotional video in order to promote Wales to potential visitors. This coincides with the launch of their new website and the 2016 Wales Year of Adventure.

call of the wild.jpegTourism  now  contributes £481m to the Welsh economy and supports more than 8,000 jobs. Adventure makes up 10% of all tourism in Wales.

Director Mark Soanes said: "The adventure tourism sector has an enormous contribution to make to the Welsh economy but we have to work at it to ensure our level of performance is maintained year on year . We’re fortunate to work in the stunning 519sqm of the outstanding Brecon Beacons National Park. Adventure is therefore second nature. However we can’t rest on our laurels as visitors are bombarded with multiple hcall 3.jpegoliday destination ideas with the choice increasing year on year.”
