Plan an evening of live music, food and drinks at The Foundry, an independent grassroots venue on Bell Lane in central Brecon. Its varied programme brings local and touring bands, tribute acts, open mic and jam nights, quizzes and other creative events to the town throughout the year.
The 150-capacity venue keeps performances close to the audience. Many gigs are standing events unless the individual listing says otherwise, with seating available in the middle lounge and bar areas. The bar serves locally sourced draught lagers, ciders and IPAs alongside spirits, cocktails, soft drinks and barista coffee. Food is also served from the kitchen, so you can make a fuller evening of your visit.
The performance space and lounge are on the ground floor and accessible to wheelchair users, with an accessible toilet also available. Seating can be arranged on request, although views will depend on the event layout. Some shows use strobe lighting, so contact the team before visiting if you have specific access requirements.
