Brecon Town Open Studios 2017 is on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 June, with artists' studios open between 12pm-7pm on both days. Several participating artists, including painters, a visual artist, a sculptor-weaver, landscape photographer, a glassmaker, and others will be opening their studios in the historic market town of Brecon, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Works of art will be available for sale direct from the artists and makers, alongside prints, greetings cards, and more.

A walking trail connects the studios, and includes some of Brecon's elegant Georgian streets and lesser-known byways, and offers fabulous views of Brecon Cathedral, the rivers Usk and Honddu, as well as of the Brecon Beacons.

Entry is free, and a map and information can be picked up from many venues in Brecon, and downloaded from this page.

Tea, coffee and cakes or biscuits will be available at many of the studios for a charity donation. The studios are working studios, many in artists' own homes, alongside a studio of collaborating artists in the vaults underneath Brecon's historic market hall. Please telephone venues to check accessibility if you are concerned about access.
