Brecon Choir Festival 2024

By j.bell on 16/04/2024

July sees the Brecon Choir Festival in the heart of Wales. Situated in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, also known as Bannau Brycheiniog, with unforgettable choral experiences, the aim is to bring people together through the power of music & song while creating lasting memories and designed to evoke the senses.

With venues throughout Brecon you get the opportunity to hear newly commissioned music from first class composers, the opportunity to take part in discussions with academics and to enjoy the soaring vocal tradition that is the Welsh singing culture.

There is also the opportunity to see the natural landscape around Brecon and the historical buildings within the town itself, including the 13th centaury chapel at Christ College, the magnificent Cathedral which dates in parts back to 1093 and the site for the final evening of the festival, The Plough on Lion Street
