Brecon Beacons named as one of the best National Parks in Europe by Lonely Planet

By j.bell on 16/02/2018

The Brecon Beacons National Park covers 519 square miles and is both beautiful and diverse, with rolling countryside and valleys, wide open hillsides and wildly beautiful forests, lakes, waterfalls and caves.

Renowned travel guide Lonely Planet has name-checked the Welsh attraction along with seven other national parks in European destinations like Iceland, Norway and Greece.

They are all included in Lonely Planet's new titleĀ The Best Things in Life are Free

With our magical Dark Skies, endless countryside, rich history and plenty of adventurous things to do-it is no surprise it has made the cut!
