• Gwernyfed High School Art Exhibition at Theatr Brycheiniog, The Muse and Brecon Library.

An exhibition across three venues which showcases the work of GCSE, AS and A Level students. Until 17 July. Please contact the venues for opening times.

• Brecknock Art Society at Brecon Cathedral

Until 22 July 10am – 4.30 daily (after Morning Service on Sundays)

An exhibition of art produced by members of Brecknock Art Society will be on show at Brecon Cathedral. Most of the work is for sale.

• Brecon Farmers Market - Saturday 11 July

The Farmers Market takes place at Brecon Market Hall this Saturday from 9.30am til 2pm

An indoor market full of local food producers bringing you speciality breads, real ales, cider, freshly made tapas, meat, cheese, butter, eggs, cakes, crafts and more. Shop for the best of local foods while local musician John Eyre entertains with a medley of popular songs and if the sight of all this delicious food makes you hungry the Love at First Bake Cafe will also be there with a range of delicious gluten free cakes, savoury muffins and hot and cold drinks.
