If you’re looking for something crafty to take your mind off of the sweltering summer heat, the Erwood Station Craft Centre Summer Craft Fair is the perfect event! Erwood's Summer Craft Fair promises to be the craft centre's biggest event, with live music, workshops, trade stalls and exciting demonstrations all taking place over the five days from July 24-28. There is more than enough to do for kids of all ages and plenty to keep any kind of parent busy!
Like animals and crafts? Not a problem. Old Bakery Alpacas will be at the fair to pet while you look around at the beautiful handmade products, attend a workshop with sculptor Rebecca Buck, and listen to author Adele Nozedar talk about her new book The Hedgerow Handbook. Of course there is also a large selection of food and charity stands on site, with Creamy Speciality Ice Cream and Extreme Organix Burgers!
You can book all your workshops at the Craft Fair in advance. Whether you’re looking for clay sculpting on July 24th or stone carving on Saturday, there is a workshop for everyone! (as long as you book early at mc@erwood-station.co.uk)
For music lovers, there is a large line-up of live music including Elinor Bennet and The Fireside Family! To commemorate the closure of Erwood Bridge, Erwood Craft Centre is organising “Dance on the Bridge” where dancers from all over the world will celebrate this famous bridge. Dance workshops will be offered the day before to teach a simple routine. Email mc@erwood-station.co.uk to book. If you just want to have fun, come at 2.10 to dance freestyle!

Although the bridge is closing on July 29th, there are plenty of other ways to get to the Erwood Craft Centre. As long as you can somehow to get to the east bank of the River Wye...
