What to Expect & Highlights
Hay Winter Weekend is a compact, vibrant festival with a festive twist. You’ll find:
Over 80 artists and a rich programme exploring storytelling, big ideas, music, comedy and performance.
Pop-up music and ambient performances around the town (e.g. Kairos)
Big names in conversation: Nick Clegg, Maria Alyokhina, Joanna Page, Mick Herron, Susie Dent and more
Festive focal events like the Christmas lights switch-on on Friday 28 November in the market square
Workshops, family events, storytelling sessions, plus connection to Hay’s book shops, cafes and ambiance.
