Its that time of year again when groups of friends get together to enjoy all the live music on offer in Brecon during Brecon Jazzand Brecon Fringe Festival, which kicks off on the 6th and continues till the 9th August.
Brecon is set for a whirlwind of performances this year -with an all-encompassing line-up you are set to see some of the biggest names in jazz as well as a parade of up-and-comers.
This year the atmosphere will again be enhanced with colourful street entertainment that proved so popular in keeping all ages entertained around town.
The Brecon Jazz 2015 programme this year boasts the most international line-up in the event’s 31 year history. It’s going to be a party you don’t want to miss! Big name American headliners, exclusive performances, intriguing crossovers and global artists from Scandinavia through Romania, Brittany and Catalonia to Brazil that reflect jazz music’s global reach. The Brecon Fringe Festival hosts events place all over the town of Brecon, organised by local landlords, venue owners and individuals. The majority of events are free, with others asking for a very small fee. The Fringe offers a range of musical tastes from local artists and those from further afield.
